Living out my Ebony Man of the Year dream |
Never give up on yourself. That is a sentence that best describes me. I am a 29 yr old teacher from Tennessee that has gone through several transistions in life. Those that knew me can't believe what I have become, those that know me can't believe where I have come from. That makes me anticipate the future.
I am currently finishing up my M.Ed degree at a local university. From there I plan to obtain my real estate license, which is a 3 month program, before pursuing my Doctoral degree in education. There is so much that I want to do, so many fields I want to study. So much to be accomplished. | Graduation Day (if you couldn't tell)
See any resemblance? |
I am currently employed as a GED instructor at a local correctional facility. It is not what I went into education for, my certification is in K-8, but the pay is so much better. I plan on going back to public school after this degree. Being that my schedule is so hectic, I don't have time for many hobbies. Computers, reading, sports (boxing #1, football, basketball), and listening to jazz are some of the things I enjoy doing when the opportunity presents itself.
